T. Rowe Price Charitable's investment pools are composed of mutual funds managed by T. Rowe Price, a world-class investment manager focused on delivering strong returns over time.

Investment Options to Suit Your Needs

The investment objectives of the ten pools range from capital preservation to aggressive growth. All pools are subject to market risk, including possible loss of principal.

You can invest in one or a combination of these pools. Requests to reallocate your giving account balance can be submitted at any time with no fees. Reallocations are generally processed every other Friday, depending on the NY Stock Exchange holiday schedule.

Gift Preservation Pool

Seeks maximum preservation of capital and liquidity and, consistent with these goals, the highest possible current income.

Underlying Component: U.S. Treasury Money Fund - I Class (100%)

Target Allocation: Cash (100%)

U.S. Bond Index Pool

Seeks to provide a total return that matches or incrementally exceeds the performance of the U.S. investment-grade bond market.

Underlying Component: QM U.S. Bond Index Fund - I Class (100%)

Target Allocation: Fixed Income (100%)

Income Pool

Seeks a high level of current income with moderate share price fluctuation.

Underlying Component: Spectrum Income Fund - I Class (100%)

Target Allocation: Fixed Income (100%)

Seeks the highest total return over time consistent with a primary emphasis on income and a secondary emphasis on capital growth.

Underlying Component: Spectrum Conservative Allocation Fund - I Class (100%)

Target Allocation: Equity (40%), Fixed Income (56%), Cash (4%) 

Moderate Growth Pool

Seeks the highest total return over time consistent with an emphasis on both capital growth and income.

Target Allocation: Equity (60%), Fixed Income (40%)

Growth Pool

Seeks the highest total return over time consistent with a primary emphasis on capital growth and a secondary emphasis on income.

Underlying Component: Spectrum Moderate Growth Allocation Fund - I Class (100%)

Target Allocation: Equity (80%), Fixed Income (20%)

Aggressive Growth Pool

Seeks long-term capital appreciation and growth of income with current income a secondary objective.

Underlying Component: Spectrum Diversified Equity Fund - I Class (100%)

Target Allocation: Equity (100%)

U.S. Equity Index Pool

Seeks to match the performance of the entire U.S. stock market by investing substantially in a broad spectrum of small-, mid-, and large-cap stocks representative of the S&P Total Market Index. 

Underlying Component: Equity Index 500 Fund - I Class (80%), Mid-Cap Index Fund – I Class (10%), Small-Cap Index Fund – I Class (10%)

Target Allocation: Equity (100%)

International Equity Index Pool

Seeks to provide long-term capital growth and uses a full replication strategy, which involves investing substantially all of its assets in all of the stocks in the index in proportion to each stock’s weight in the index. 

Underlying Component: International Equity Index Fund (100%)

Target Allocation: Equity (100%)

Global Impact Equity Pool

Invests in durable, growing businesses of any market capitalization both within and outside of the U.S, including emerging markets. It takes an impact approach to investing, seeking opportunities that are capable of generating both long-term growth of capital as well as positive environmental and/or social impact, while excluding non-impact areas of the global economy.

Can I change my investment selections?

Yes, you can request to reallocate your account balance at any time with no fees. These requests are generally processed every other Friday, depending on the NY Stock Exchange holiday schedule.
What are the fees associated with an account?

The total annual fees are the sum of the administrative and investment fees.

T. Rowe Price Charitable assesses an annual administrative fee on all donor-advised assets to help cover operating and administrative expenses. The prorated assessment is made on a daily basis and is reflected in the net asset value of each investment pool. Administrative fees and investment fees are available on the fees page.

Accounts that are reduced to a zero balance through grant recommendation(s) within the first six months from account inception will be assessed an administrative fee of $500 prior to awarding the final grant.
Can my account assets be managed outside of the pool choices?

If your account has a balance of $5 million or more, you can take advantage of the personal attention and investment flexibility of private portfolio management through T. Rowe Price. Please call 1-888-462-4826 to inquire.
